Yesterday, at a Morgan Stanley tech conference, Zynga Chief Executive Don Mattick mentioned that the online-gaming company has plans to launch pilot programs for its live poker game all over the world this year. With US regulations making it difficult for real-money poker sites to run business, Zynga is instead focusing its efforts on the "outside world". However, it will be faced with fierce competition from guys like Pokerstars. As a side-note, Mattick also revealed updated mobile versions of their popular titles "Words with Friends", "Zynga Poker", and "Farmville". Those who are familiar with and favor such applications should look forward to the new improvements. As a result of the announcements, Zynga shares jumped up 9% today.
